Here is my (Darcy Stumbaugh's) poetry. I rarely rhyme, and keep no pretty things here. I write mostly on the topics of love, lies, flies, ravens, and those things beneath or inbetween. Most of my poems are short, and I don't revise enough. I'm 23, and currently working in Eastern Oregon, for The Nature Conservancy. I'll only put a few poems here, and a few more brand new ones which I'm working on, feel free to criticize. These poems are exclusively © Darcy Stumbaugh. Rip them off and you'll find out just how territorial an only child from a small stingy town that thrives on real estate can be. Feel free to link to this page, however. I'm working on a chapbook called Wench in the Works, someday. E-mail me if you have any questions or comments. cleandeedz@hotmail.com Thank you, and enjoy.

Brand-spankin' New or Unfinished:

Providian Visa Keeps Sending Me Junk Mail

Germs & Marbled Murrelets

Please give me feedback, positive or negative, on the new stuff, I could use all the criticism I can get. The new poems are unfinished and still being revised. The older poems I'm done with, you can still criticize if you like but it's probably too late. Most of the older poems and possibly some of the new ones will be in Wench in the Works. Thanks for readin'. This is my first stab at this particular webpage so there's probably a lot of renovation yet to come. Watch for a links page and a guestbook or some sort of format where you can submit comments and criticism right here. If you'd like to submit your own poetry go ahead, I might make a page for submitted poems if they come in. I don't send spam or anything like that, ick, so your e-mail address is safe with me. Multi-recipient e-mails to my address get toasted before they even reach my inbox, so if you expected a reply from me and didn't get it, try sending again to my address alone, or try from a different e-mail address if you have one.

Peace n' Love and all that hippie stuff,
Live long n' prosper and all that nerdy stuff,
Y'all come back now y'hear and all that hick stuff,
and (from the back of a calendar in my second-favorite Thai restraunt)
"Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Best Wishes, Everything Longtime"
